Pilates at the Court Club

The Pilates method of body
conditioning is a unique system of stretching exercises. It strengthens
and tones muscles, improves posture, provides flexibility and balance,
unites body and mind, and creates a more streamlined shape. Pilates
combines elements of gymnastics, yoga, dance, self-defense, and
resistance/weight training. The focus on the quality of movements will
bring you deep results. Anyone can do Pilates-women, men, young, old,
healthy or out of shape. It’s a lengthening and strengthening of your
body without bulking up muscles. It improves your posture and
alignment, and it emphasizes working small muscle groups that are
underneath, supporting your large muscle groups.
